Jimmy L Waldrop, MD, FACS is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Waldrop is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school he completed General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care/Trauma fellowship at The University of Tennessee – Chattanooga. He subsequently completed a comprehensive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency also at The University of Tennessee. After completion of surgical training, he joined the Plastic Surgery Group. He is an Associate Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga and is actively involved in the training of plastic surgery residents.

Dr. Waldrop’s practice includes cosmetic surgery of the breast, abdomen, body, and face. Specifically, breast augmentation, lift, and reduction, tummy tuck, thigh/arm lift, liposuction, face lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, and facetite/bodytite. In addition to cosmetic surgery, he is also performs complex reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. This includes reconstruction of the head/neck, face, breasts, trunk, abdomen, or extremities after cancer surgery and trauma. He is fully trained in all aspects of cosmetic plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Waldrop resides in Signal Mountain with his wife and daughter. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, off-roading, fishing, and he is an avid sportsman.
