Carey J. Nease, MD, a fellowship-trained facial plastic and cosmetic surgery, recently joined RefinedLooks at the Plastic Surgery Group in January of 2021. Dr. Nease performs a wide range of cosmetic procedures and has exceptional talent for facial rejuvenation. Dr. Nease is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
With nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Nease is known for his experience, artistry, skill, and technique in face and neck lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction, tummy tucks, Botox and fillers, laser skin resurfacing and other cosmetic surgery procedures.
Dr. Nease consistently uses the most innovative techniques and cutting-edge laser technology and always aims to ensure patient safety, deliver complete patient satisfaction, and produce remarkable, naturally beautiful results.
Dr. Nease regularly provides lectures and presentations to peers across the country and trains surgeons from around the world in the latest advancements in cosmetic surgery. For more than 12 years, Dr. Nease has been a lecturer and instructor for various courses and workshops including the facial rejuvenation course sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), the New and Established Techniques in Breast and Body Contouring Workshop, and the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery meeting in London in 2019. His research has been published in numerous aesthetic surgical journals and he has contributed to several textbooks on complete facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty.
Dr. Nease is currently a trustee on the Board of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He was the 2018 President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and was the 2017 Vice President of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Nease has been honored with the Best of the Best Cosmetic Surgeon Award for seven consecutive years in Chattanooga, TN and the North Georgia area.
Dr. Nease’s interests include scuba diving, golf, piano and guitar, watercolor painting, and volunteering in the pre-school area of his church with his family. Dr. Nease and his wife Pamela love to travel to experience new cultures and adventures. They currently live in downtown Chattanooga, TN and have four grown children: Joseph, Justin, Matthew and Adison and a sweet daughter-in-law, Hannah.
